Course Descriptions:
Health and Wellness
Complementary Botanical Wellness
Dr.Renee Goddard was an RN for 33 years prior to becoming a naturopathic physician. She has experienced the frustration of not knowing alternative ways to treat illness raising three children. In her practice of ten years in Hamilton as a naturopath doctor, she used the herbs and supplements that will be discussed in her class on a daily basis.
In Complementary Botanical Wellness, I plan on taking the most common reasons for seeing a physician and describe ways that office visit could have possibly been prevented. This involves knowing what to do to optimize a person’s state of wellness prior to becoming ill. .
Secondly, when and what the individual can do to begin treatment and possibly lessen the chances of having to see a physician, what works and what doesn’t. Thirdly, when a physician should be consulted or seen for an illness/problem.
